Wednesday 6 Week Improvers Yoga Course

This improvers course is for those who have already completed a beginners yoga course, or for students with some yoga experience wishing to gain a grounding in the tenets of the yoga practice.
You will learn basic sequences, with a focus on linking movement with breath, providing a firm foundation to the practice. Based on the traditional teachings of Krishnamacharya, this approach is therapeutic for the body and the mind.
All of this will be contextualised within useful and practical knowledge from the ancient texts which help us to live well in our very modern world.
You will experience a fully integrated practice in each session that will leave you feeling calm and refreshed as well as having practices to take home with you and work with between sessions.

Meet the Teachers
Donna’s spiritual journey began after experiencing a solar eclipse in India in 1995.
Shortly after that, she took a silent Vipassana retreat followed by a number of others, which changed her as a person and prepared her for when she found yoga, via an Ashtanga Vinyasa class which she happened across on her way to the beach in Goa in 1998.
