Exploring & Creating Authentic Embodied Relationships On & Off the Mat - Session 3
With Heidi Hinda Chadwick
20 August 2017, 13:30–16:30
A series of 3 exploratory sessions that will provide the space, time and possibility to dive deep into asking ourselves the questions: What are we in relationship to, giving our attention to, in each moment? What are we connected to when we practice? What kind of relationship do we have with our body and our ground? How do we connect with the environment that we live and move in? And, are we still in relationship with ourselves, our centre, our ground, as we engage with others and with life?
We will work with playful compassionate inquiry, using yoga, somatic bodywork, breathwork, movement meditations, writing, and our own kind awareness. These workshops are an opportunity to bring a sense of playfulness and curiousity into our practice, and to create a depth of authenticity and integrity that we can take onto our mat and into our life.
This third session will explore the dance of relationship with other and with the world. What calls us into life? What draws us from our heart? What fuels our movement towards or away? And do we have a relationship with faith to move us and to surrender our actions to? What are we giving? What are we willing to receive? How much can we listen and respond? What happens when we dare to follow our aliveness?
Part 3 in a series of 3. Can be booked as individual workshops, or as the whole series. See the full series here.
Meet the Teachers
Donna’s spiritual journey began after experiencing a solar eclipse in India in 1995.
Shortly after that, she took a silent Vipassana retreat followed by a number of others, which changed her as a person and prepared her for when she found yoga, via an Ashtanga Vinyasa class which she happened across on her way to the beach in Goa in 1998.
