Warm Yin Yoga Workshop
Unwind and release tension with this soothing Warm Yin Yoga workshop.
Danny and Fiona will guide you through a sequence of still, grounding Yin Yoga postures which are passively held for long periods of time. This workshop takes place in the warm room, for an even more soothing and restorative experience. This helps to release tension and encourages more flexibility and a deeper awareness of the body. The workshop will finish with a guided meditation and relaxation.
Most of the yoga practiced in the west is Yang in nature and focuses on strengthening and stretching the muscles. In Yin we relax the muscles in order to exercise the fascia, lengthening the connective tissue and leading to a greater range of movement around the joints. Yin is a perfect complement to your regular asana practice as it opens up the body in different ways and teaches us that letting go and being patient is another path to healing.

Meet the Teachers
Donna’s spiritual journey began after experiencing a solar eclipse in India in 1995.
Shortly after that, she took a silent Vipassana retreat followed by a number of others, which changed her as a person and prepared her for when she found yoga, via an Ashtanga Vinyasa class which she happened across on her way to the beach in Goa in 1998.
